Slow Down Retreat: A 3-hour workshop to help you create a New York lifestyle to balance being and doing. During this workshop, participants will create a path to achieve balance and harmony while living in often stressful, New York City.

During this workshop, participants will create a path to achieve balance and harmony while living in often stressful, New York City. They will learn how to change their relationship with time and gain clarity about their priorities, intentions and goals. 

A workshop, without leaving NYC, to slow down … and build a life filled with presence, meaningful actions and compassion. 

Cost: early bird special $45 pre-register online before Nov 11th or $55 after and $65 cash/check at the door (space limited to 20 people). If you wish to take the workshop a second time, you can pay a special price of $35 at the door.

The Workshop

The 3-hour workshop will include group exercises, reflection, writing exercises, Improv games, meditation, and a celebration! Tea and healthy delicious snacks will be served.

Marina Romashko is a founder of the Big Idea Lab, an idea coach and a producer.  She makes BIG IDEAS happen. Since 2009, Marina’s clients and projects have included: one woman shows: UnladylikeOAH, internationally acclaimed one woman show Burq Off!, The Gotham Award winning web-series: “Shugs&Fats”; Unladylike: A memoir by Radhika Vaz, SecularAction.org, Femcho, Moppy, Whiskey Stories, PaRa, Sketchy Desi, Unintentionally Celibate book publishing, Amateur Quest, ThinkLab Media, and Illisit mind.

A doer who loves making good things happen, Marina is also an advocate for importance of slowing down and leading a balanced life – an approach she has developed and incorporated in her work with clients and now for the Slow Down Retreat.

Marina loves yoga, meditation, dancing, hiking, feeding people, and buying flowers for people she loves. She is a huge supporter of Women’s Education Project, a non-profit organization base in New York, helping girls in India from underprivileged families go to college and succeed in careers.

In 2016 she plans to start her own Big Idea Lab radio podcast series, produce rap video and finally learn how to surf.
