We have a day, a moment to pause

Reflect what really is our cause

What in our heart of heart of hearts

Will carry us through the winter dark

 

Unexpected, surprises, shocks, droughts, floods, and fires

Opinions flying like live wires

Within us around us we dig deep to inspire

The love as a star shining within this body alive

We don’t just want to live, we want all of us to thrive

 

I desire to reach out and touch the sky

That is vast and infinite and so very high

To relax and befriend and trust Mother Earth

To carry me to completion from the moment of my birth

 

Thank you moon and sun for bringing me here

To balance and live and listen and hear

The music; that rhythm of life as a dance

Thank you great spirt for this amazing life chance.
